Rant about the cancellation of shows with ongoing storylines

I should know better than to get hooked on a new series with an ongoing storyline.  I have been burned too many times.  However, I continue to be delusional or maybe just hopefully, that everything will come to a satisfying conclusion.  Unfortunately, my hopes are usually dashed, when the show is canceled, many times to leave with a season ending cliffhangar, never to return.  Now, I hear that NBC, in their infinite wisdom, has canceled HEROES.  HEROES is one of the few shows, that I watch on NBC.  Now, I doubt that I will be tuning in to any of their shows.  Well, maybe just the ones with a continuing storyline.  I'm tired of having the rug pulled out from under me.
