Refusing to embrace her mermaid heritage, Gwen Lonike prefers to live as a human. All she wants it to run her hotel in Port Rock Maine, in peace. But when her sister Tessa returns from the Mediterranean with news that she had inadvertently opened the gateway to a lost mermaid kingdom–and accidentally freed its dangerous queen–Gwen can no longer hide behind her idyllic life.
Covert-ops agent Blake Whittaker is far from happy when he’s assigned to trail paranormal activity back to him hometown, where he can’t escape crushing memories he’d rather forget. But when he meets and falls for Gwen, he knows he can’t cut and run. Yet how long can he hide his true mission from her? And how long can Gwen and her sisters remain safe from a nemesis bent on their destruction–and from Blake’s own superiors, whose ultimate mission could prove the greatest threat of all?

Oh, I just have to say I purchased and read Siren's Call last week. I absolutely loved it. :) I really enjoyed the take on the Mermaids in this story.
Thank you!

Hi, All. Glad you all dropped by.
Keisha, insanity inspires me to write. Only a crazy person would want to be in the business.
Ricki, Lindsay Nouis at NAL chose the mermaid theme. I simply created the worldbuilding.
Ashley, I dunno. I am still trying to figure that one out, LOL
Melissa, I am tickled you liked the book!
Devyn, you are the sweetest and most generous person. Thank you.
As always I was drawn into the story by your cover artwork. You've done it again!

Love the cover. Do you have a schedule for writing each day or do you just wing it when you have the time?

a mermaid romance...I have yet to read one of this sort -

Thanks :)
It may sound corny but I like that old movie Slash, Daryl Hannah was the mermaid. You rarely see a mermaid as a choice character. Which character is you most fav? and why?

Hi Devyn. I've been dying to read a book about mermaids. Can't wait. Thanks for the contest. :0)
What an interesting blurb!!=)
Were there any challenges to writing a mermaid story?
On a personal note:
What fascinates you the most about the deep blue sea?
Thank you for the wonderful chance to ask questions.

How did you come up with the idea for the cover? It's beautiful!
Thanks for the giveaway!

I think mermaids are awesome. I'm quite surprised that there aren't a lot of books about them out there (well, I'm sure there are: they just aren't very popular). This looks like a super interesting read.

Devyn, if you weren't writing about mermaids, what do you think you'd write about?
